My old knife that i got when i was 10 is finally too small for me, so i have decided that i want to get me a new knife, and i was wondering what are some good knife brands (and models if you would kindly include in your post).
First off, i don’t want a big bowie knife, or other fixed-blade knife, i want to get a folding pocket knife. I would prefer to get one with both the regular blade, and half serrated, and though, not necessary, one with one of those seat belt cutter notch. I also do not want to spend a small fortune on a knife, so i would only consider buying a knife prices 0 or less (less is always better unless reliability is compromised).
For my last paragraph, i would like to say that i’ve looked at gerber knifes, and they all look awful (i would like a knife that looks good), so gerber is out of the picture. I also looked at crkt (?), and although they don’t look as bad as gerber, i don’t like their angled blade tip, i would highly prefer a curved blade tip (i hope you know what i mean). And finally, i found this one tpye of knife, the sog trident folder that meets all my requirements, and i was wondering if this type of knife (or SOG in whole) is good. Thanks for any contribution.

I want a good, reliable knife, nothing fancy. Just want it to last, not need frequent sharpening, and be made of some good steel. It probably won’t be used much if at all for hunting, but I always like to carry a knife on me. I want something I can quickly open with one hand, and I don’t really want to spend more than 0 either. Any suggestions?

I have a Western Cutlery Bowie Knife that has age scaring and surface rust. The blade and steel itself is still in perfect condition, but how would i clean the crap off to get it shining again?

I am moving to Idaho and i want a good quality all around knife. I want it to have a legal blade length to carry in the city a good grip handle large enough to get the job done on anything from cutting boxes to hunting, but small enough to shove in my pocket and not have people staring at me a good handle
i have been looking at the tactical knifes with the window puncher and belt cutter but am not sure if i want a folder or a fixed blade and a good locking plastic sheath that can get wet when we are out hunting and boating so an all around good knife
here are some examples i am looking at and if you know any like it please tell me

so what i am trying to say is if you think these are good tell me which one or if you know of a better one
P.S. i would like it semi cheap unless it is a really good knife (the custom on i have i really like but don’t know if i can afford
P.S.S from the rules i have seen i think assisted opening knifes are illegal and the blade
length Maximum is 3.5inches correct me if i am wrong

I recently bought a knife that looks cool, but was told that it is a piece of junk. If one of you could recommend a high quality bowie knife that is under 0 that would be very helpful.
